Financial contributions and assistance

There are some costs associated with going to school that you may find it helpful to plan and budget for.

These include:

  • uniforms

  • school books and equipment

  • excursions

  • co-curricular activities.

Voluntary school contributions

Like all NSW public schools, we can request contributions to enhance our educational and sporting programs including elective subjects. School contributions help provide additional educational resources for the benefit of students. Payment is voluntary.

For more information, visit the Voluntary School Contribution policy.

At the beginning of each year, we ask parents to pay for a Starter Pack - cost $70.

This pack includes all books and textbooks, two Musica Viva shows during the year, Life Education van visit and portfolio folder. This will also include the ABC Reading Eggs program which can be used at school and at home.  (If purchased by parents, it costs about $80! It costs us $6.) We have also added Mathletics  - a Maths program which can also be used at home.  It is also greatly reduced if you pay through the school.  For the $70, you get a lot of services and educational resources.  Your Starter Pack just covers some of the costs and is a really good deal.

You will be asked to pay for excursions that occur during the year via notes.  Please respond to these quickly so your child does not miss out.

Financial assistance

If you are unable to pay school contributions because of financial hardship, you may be eligible for assistance from the school.

Our principal will ensure no student or family suffers any discrimination or embarrassment over the inability to pay school contributions.
