Schools in the Queanbeyan Education area have been given special permission from the Department of Education to hold a collaborative school development day. This coincides with the Canberra Day holiday and will probably suit many families as we have always experienced high levels of absences on this day in the past.

Schools will be meeting at the University of Canberra to attend a Spatial Awareness maths program aimed at accelerating maths performance for children.

This is a pupil free day and we ask that families mark their calendars and prepare to have a long weekend on this date.
