Our principal and staff

Our school team is committed to every student’s learning, wellbeing and sense of belonging. We work together to create a supportive and inclusive school where every child is set up for success.

Welcome from our principal

Jerrabomberra Public School, situated in the heart of the Jerrabomberra and Tralee communities, provides students with quality educational programs delivered by highly qualified and dedicated teachers and support staff.

Jerrabomberra Public School is a large school with a small school feel.  We are a true K - 6 school where teachers engage with all students and each child is known, valued, and cared for.  We foster a culture of high expectation, encouraging quality relationships and effective wellbeing programs within an inclusive environment. We work collaboratively with parents to support a school that values education and prepares our citizens of the future. We encourage parents to be active participants in a valued partnership, based on a mutual respect for all.

At Jerrabomberra Public School we are committed to ensuring quality learning and teaching as the central focus of our classrooms. Our school provides an attractive setting with Brindabella Mountain views, a natural bushland area, playgrounds, shade areas, covered court areas, secure grounds and open play space.  Our students are eager to learn and have access to a high level of technology and extra-curricular activities.

I warmly invite you to join our school community and experience the welcoming environment that makes our school truly special.

Chris Hunter, Principal of Jerrabomberra Public School
